Electric Rotating Column Micro Vickers Hardness Tester Tester OEM
Introduction:
Micro Vickers hardness is best suited for testing metal structures, including tiny parts, sheets, metal foils, premium wires, thin hardened layers and electroplated layers. It can also be used to test non-metallic materials such as glass, jewelry and ceramics that can’t be tested with Rockwell test methods and other large test power tests. In particular, it can follow the metal structure, test hardening or carburizing and other materials, the internal hardness.
The test consists of two parts. In the first part, the diamond indenter is driven by a force of known size and pressed into the surface of the material under test. In the second part, the user measures and enters the diagonal length of the indentation, and the host automatically calculates the corresponding Vickers hardness value.
At the beginning of the test, The indenter of the hardness tester drops until the indenter is in contact with the surface of the specimen. The test force starts loading at this point and reaches the selected setting. Then, the hardness tester will follow the selected load time, and keep this force for some time.
