Method principle
The determination of the heat of hydration is based on the Geiss law of thermochemistry, that is, the thermal effect of a chemical reaction is only related to the initial and final state of the system and has nothing to do with the way of reaction. It is proposed that under the condition of a certain temperature around the calorimeter, unhydrated cement and hydrated cement of a certain age are dissolved in a certain concentration of standard acid, and the difference of the heat of solution is measured. Is the heat of hydration released by the cement during the specified age.
