EQF 3220 can not only measure the concentration of radon and thorium gas, but also the concentration of their decay products and their relationship with the volume of aerosol particles. This instrument samples free and attached decay products and cluster components within the range of 20 to 100 nm. This component typically occurs during the combustion process in air. A small aerosol sampling head can be removed from the device and placed in any other part of the room. The newly developed sampling head's fine pore filter membrane can be replaced without any tools. This filter has enhanced membrane fibers and an automatically controlled rotating vane pump, ensuring a constant airflow through the filter. Use stainless steel mesh to separate free decay products. Multiple tests have shown that the measurement results have excellent reliability.

EQF 3220 is equipped with high-end semiconductor radiation detectors in the radon gas measurement room and decay product detection head. This allows for the perfect separation of different decay products of radon using alpha spectroscopy. The measurement chamber follows the principle of high-pressure collection and, despite its small size, has exceptional sensitivity. This means having a decisive advantage in measuring thorium gas or small probe volumes. The long-term pollution caused by the continuous increase of polonium 210 underground in other measurement principles is completely circular. There is no cross sensitivity to environmental radiation. The room is not affected by changes in environmental humidity. Quality control is a major issue in any radiation measurement. Therefore, EQF 3220 records the complete a-spectrum of each measurement value. The EQF 3220 has a large touch screen that displays measured values. All measurement data is stored on a 2 GB memory card and can be obtained from a PC or laptop through a USB interface. Data transmission and device control can be achieved through wireless modems and ZigBee adapters (Wi Fi). The NaI detector used to fix local gamma dose is an optional feature of this device. EQF3220 is equipped with additional input and output terminals, which can connect sensors and actuators according to customer specific needs. The data table shows some examples. This instrument is equipped with a factory calibration certificate. The calibration process of hydrogen (Rn-222) meets the requirements of DIN ISO EN 17025.
