Room Tritium Air Monitor Model 7045
The 7045 instrument is based on a highly successful handheld tritium air monitoring platform manufactured by Tyne. The difference is that the wall mounted indoor tritium monitor version is larger and can also be placed in a 19 inch rack cabinet. There are four ionization chambers, approximately three times the sensitivity of the 7043 handheld instrument, which has increased by three times. In addition, the wall mounted instrument has a more powerful long life pump that can be maintained from the front, such as replacing filters and drying media, and can be connected to a suction gun probe within a range of 15 meters. The larger ionization chamber adopts a compact packaging with high sensitivity and does not require the use of P-10 gas, which is a hassle for operators as it requires continuous gas supply, and the ionization chamber also avoids the need for low reliability demand flow proportional counting systems. The 7045 ionization chamber is sturdy and reliable. If they are indeed contaminated, they can be purified by using a heater installed inside the unit, while starting to flow continuously through the chamber. The diaphragm pump of this device uses EPDM diaphragm, which is considered the most reliable and durable on site. The pump is quiet and the replacement of the diaphragm is simple, taking only a few minutes. The front of the device is equipped with a suction gun probe. When the instrument detects a tritium leak and the operator wishes to sniff around the seal that may be suspected of leaking, this function can be used to help track the source of the leak. The sniffer is equipped with a 15 meter long lead wire. The device has a touch screen that allows you to change settings and set alarm levels, etc. If an alarm is activated, the instrument will display lights and an audible alarm, which can be cancelled without canceling the lights. The touch screen panel is activated by two levels of passwords, one level of password only allows access by health physics personnel, and the other level of password allows the operator to adjust alarms, etc. Although the touch screen is very suitable for the above purposes, it may not be bright enough to be visible. For this reason, it also provides large digital readings for better visibility by the operator. Our handheld version of the battery has been replaced with a power supply in the wall mounted version to avoid other necessary maintenance.

y measurement: Measurement of tritium at the same time can measure gamma radioactivity. Measuring range: 0.1mR/h~ 10R /hr
Y background compensation: < 10% or 5uCi/m3 of change in reading;
Hydrogen compensation: The device provides hydrogen compensation
HTO and HT differentiation: The device provides measurement modes for HTO and HT differentiation
Ion trap: Built into each ionization chamber
Response time: 2~5s (0~15m air hose at 90% signal); 30s(100~150 meters of air hose).
Drift: ±3%/24 hours; 10%/30 days
Cleaning and decontamination of ionization chambers: The use of an internal temperature-controlled cartridge heater to heat the chamber
Anti-condensation: The heater heats to raise the temperature above room temperature to prevent condensation
