WCCS-14 is a sample preparation equipment for carbon in environmental water bodies, which can process 20L of water samples at a time. The principle is that inorganic carbon is processed by degassing sample preparation method and organic carbon is oxidized by wet method, which is converted into carbon dioxide and collected by lye.

WCCS-14 uses the heating method of electric heating jacket to keep the water sample at a set temperature, and uses a multi-component catalytic oxidant system for catalytic oxidation. And through nitrogen to carry out the reaction generated carbon dioxide, and then filtration and absorption. The water sample storage device uses corrosion-resistant stainless steel tank, including water inlet, air intake, reagent injection, solid material injection, stirring, air outlet condensation, temperature monitoring and control, drainage and other parts, which can maintain good sealing under high temperature reaction.
